Handgards is completely integrated in its polyethylene glove manufacturing process, thus assuring total control from receipt of resin to shipment of product. Handgards also complies with all good manufacturing practices. All of our Low Density Polyethylene gloves are embossed. Embossing creates tiny air pockets permitting air to circulate around the hand.
Hot Cast Embossed Polyethylene Gloves
Hot Cast Gloves are made on a slot die extruder of Low Density Polyethylene embossed with an engraved design (pattern) on the surface of the plastic film as it is manufactured.
As the hot polyethylene flows out of the die, a pattern is applied to the film. This is done by putting pressure on a rubber roller against an engraved roller, with the hot film running between the two; the pattern has small squares protruding out. The embossing creates tiny air pockets, which permit air to circulate around the hand and makes them easier to put on and take off.
The Hot Cast material has an opaque look to it and the embossing has an engraved design for easy grip.
